Diploma in Fire & Safety

The Diploma In Fire & Safety Engineering is designed for the modern day requirement. This programme is the compact study of fire, its nature, Extinguishing methods and Safety precautions in work place. Emphasis will be given to train the students to become a Safety Officer in Industries, Construction Sites, MNCS and other Companies Subjects includes Construction Safety, Industrial Safety, National and International Safety Rules & Standard, Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Auditing Etc. Conversational English is also a part of the curriculum. This Diploma is one year Programme consists of 600 teaching hours. Out of that 100 hours will be dedicated for practical training. Students are trained in Fire Fighting, Confined Space Entering, Evacuation Techniques Erection & Dismantling of Scaffoldings; Dry & Wet Drills etc. Site visit will be arranged to Construction Sites, Industries and Karnataka Fire Services to make the on Site Assessments.

Basic educational qualification is S.S.L.C pass.
