Head office at Shalimar complex, Kanakanady, Mangalore - 2 is a non profitable, charitable trust registered to impart quality education and conduct various charitable works. This trust is running under the able guidance of philanthropists and successful business men from Mangalore.

The main aim behind the formation of the trust is to sponsor technical institutes which would give quality education to the students and make them eligible for a job at the end of their studies. As a first step for achieving this aim, the Minerva Educational and Charitable Trust started a Technical Institute in the field of Fire and Safety Engineering called Mangalore Institute of Fire And Safety Engineering.
