Mangalore Institute of Fire and Safety Engineering (MIFSE) was established in 2007 in Mangalore with the recognition of Karnataka State Government. MIFSE is managed by Minerva Educational Charitable Trust, Registered under the Indian Trust Act.
MIFSE is the First Fire and Safety Government Recognized institution in Karnataka. It is an established institution to run Regular Courses of Mangalore University, and Distance education programs of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysore. MIFSE is also an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution since 2010, to provide quality educational services to the society.
Accessibility, Quality, Flexibility and Relevance are the major strengths of MIFSE, whereas Creation, Management and Destination of Knowledge are our main Goal. In order to achieve these goals, we have established eleven centers all over Karnataka, at Mangalore, Bangalore, Mysore, Udupi, Shimoga, Hubli, Davanagere, Gulbarga, Madikeri, Tumkur and Hospet.
"Know Safety No Pain, No Safety Know Pain" - are most suitable words to explain about safety. Safety starts at home and follows us every where. Imagine a world without safety precautions! It is unthinkable. Each major invention of man is finally linked to safety. As safety has become the top most priority in our life, safety professionals also getting more and more job opportunities. But, availability of trained safety professionals is always a problem for major recruiters. To overcome this hurdle Mangalore Institute of Fire & Safety Engineering (MIFSE) has been established in March 2007. The courses offered by MIFSE are recognized by Govt.of Karnataka, Mangalore University, Karnataka State Open University and Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) London, U.K.
