PROGRAM: MBA (HSE)

 (Credit Based Continuous Pattern System)

  1. Preamble:

 Globalization is the biggest challenge in 21st century for the business. Further volatile world economy, quality and productivity,  ownership, environment, strategy formulation, ethics and social responsibility, workforce diversity, change, empowerment, and information technology, safety issues and ever changing environment of government regulations, both domestically and internationally pose serious challenges to the managers. The managers of the future require a different set of skills based on the functioning of the right-brain like holistic or systems thinking, intuitive problem solving and value driven decision making. They have to focus on decreased performance levels, understaffed, lack of communication, poor teamwork, pressure to perform, absence of structure and time management. All these have been considered to be barriers, which need to be resolved.All such challenges can be addressed through qualitative and contemporary harnessed skills.

2. Definitions:

  1. Title of the program: MBA ( Health, Safety and Environment )
  2. Nature of the program :     Skill/ vocational (National Education  Policy)                            
  3. Period of Study: 2 years
  4. Scheme: Semester – (4 semesters)        
  5. Credit System: Credit based as per the UGC/ NEP-
  6. Domain Subject: HSE – Health Safety and Environment
  7. Medium: English
  8. Mode of Delivery: Face to Face & online
  9. Admission cycle: Two

2. Eligibility for Admission:

  1. Candidates who have qualified any degree examination conducted by recognized university
  2. Candidates who have qualified in  10+3 diploma examination conducted by state/ national technical bodies or equivalent examination recognized by the concerned university/regulatory bodies
  3. Other rules relating to admission will be based on the University notification/ order of the State government.
  4. Credit Transfer: Credit earned by the candidate in a year of study shall be transferred as per National Education Policy.

Note:

  • One Hour of Tutorial is equal to 1 Credit
  • Two Hours of Practical is equal to 1 Credit.
  • Practical Classes need to be conducted in the Business Lab / Computer Lab/ Class room based on the requirement of the course.
  • One batch of students should not exceed half (i.e., 30 or less than 30 students) of the number of students in each class/section.
  • 2 Hours of Practical Class is equal to 1 Hour of Teaching, however, whenever it is conducted for the entire class (i.e., more than 30 students) 2 Hours of Practical Class is equal to 2 Hours of Teaching
